Hsan is located to the west of Altazia. It is currently unified under a single massive state known as the Grand Dynasty, which has enforced cultural isolation for centuries.

Society and Politics

Historically a major trading partner of the Ikosian Empire, Hsan collapsed into stagnation following the Empire's fall. The Grand Dynasty maintains strict control over its borders and population, resulting in limited exchange with the wider world.

Magic

Hsanic mages utilize a variant of the Ikosian casting system. However, due to centuries of isolation, their training methods and spell repertoire have diverged considerably. Their magical effectiveness is generally considered inferior to that of Altazia or Miasina — though this may be a product of Altazian arrogance rather than fact. The continent is the subject of wild rumors among western mages.
