The Body State & Wound Penalties

The Body State represents a character's physical health and structural integrity on their 7-box Wound track.

Wound Penalties

As a character takes physical damage and fills their health boxes, they suffer Wound Penalties. These penalties reflect the debilitating effects of pain, bleeding, and physical trauma. Wound penalties cascade into almost all other rolls, making it progressively harder to cast spells, fight, or flee as the character becomes more injured.
