Sanity

Sanity measures a character's psychological anchor to reality and their humanity.

Starting Value: 10 Boxes

When encountering a traumatic event, a character rolls Resist Erosion (Memory + Willpower). Failing this roll permanently erodes a Sanity box. As the boxes empty, characters descend into severe madness, suffering social penalties, derangements, and debilitating apathy. At 0 Sanity, they become a mindless "Hollow."
