Forward

When a Move or the GM tells you to "Take +1 Forward", it means you gain a static +1 bonus to your very next relevant 2d6 roll.

If you do not use it on your next feasible roll, the momentum fades and the bonus is lost. Usually, a Forward bonus is applied to help you chain successes together or capitalize on temporary fictional positioning.
