The Body State is a character's physical health and structural integrity on their 7-box Wound track.

Wound Penalties

As a character takes physical damage and fills their health boxes, they suffer Wound Penalties. The pain, bleeding, and trauma behind those penalties press on almost every other roll. The more injured the character gets, the harder it becomes to cast spells, fight, or flee.
