Schmiede
Forges and hardens — temper materials, stiffen resolve, hammer a shape into lasting form.
How it works
Schmiede is craft-pressure. It asks soft things to become hard, temporary things to remember their shape. In composition it finishes what Band wrapped and Anker fixed — the quench after the heat. Fictionally Schmiede loves hammers, deadlines, and vowed spikes of will; overuse and your tools — or your nerves — crack.
Combines well with: Band (hold for the hammer), Siegel (lock the temper), Anker (keep the workpiece fixed).
Function in Compositions
Form glyph. Use it when the fiction needs this verb at the center of the declaration, then dress it with school and scale.
Typical 7-9 Risk Signature
7-9: the temper takes, but something grows brittle, warped, or fused where you needed a joint.
School Affinity Notes
Frequent in Alteration and Artifice work, but any school may borrow it when the fiction fits.
