Fey

Fey are a type of "native spirit," having left the spiritual planes to settle the material world permanently long before human civilization began.

Nature and Abilities

Unlike Elementals, who build bodies from simple physical materials like soil or fire, fey craft themselves bodies made out of ectoplasm. Because of this, they generally look more lifelike and biological, often taking on the forms of animals.

Their ectoplasmic bodies are extremely malleable, making them highly proficient shapeshifters. They can mimic just about anything if they set their minds to it.

Like elementals, they are not involved in the conflicts of Angels and Demons. Their influence and territories have been greatly reduced by human expansion over the centuries. As native spirits, destroying their physical body does not banish them to the spirit world; they must be sealed or destroyed using soul magic.
