Description
Koth is the jungle-covered southern region of the continent of Miasina. It is often referred to by northerners as the "Green Hell". It is characterized by dense, dangerous jungles alongside areas cleared for cultivation. Many tropical diseases can be caught here by outsiders — usually not lethal but capable of leaving visitors bedridden for weeks. Locals are largely immune.
History & Ancient Magic
In ancient times, Koth was a vital center of human civilization and a key province of the Ikosian Empire. However, its influence collapsed after the Cataclysm caused the desertification of Xlotic, isolating the region.
The region is littered with ancient ruins featuring inscriptions in Old Majara, the precursor language to modern Soul Magic. Many rare plants and unique magical species flourish in its dense, mana-rich jungles.

Campaign Significance
- The location of the Imperial Orb — one of the five Keys to escape the time loop.
- Players must work with Daimen Kazinski and his expedition team to navigate Green Hell and recover the Orb. Daimen spends much of his time exploring the Kothian ruins.
- Traveling to Koth requires weeks of sea travel or dangerous long-distance teleportation. Initially difficult to reach from Altazia, travel to Koth was revolutionized by the discovery and activation of the Bakora Gate (a massive teleportation portal).
- The environment requires specialized magical survival skills (Medical Magic to resist plagues, Ward Class magic to keep out predators).
