Calculation
Calculation
Category: Magical
Calculation measures your mental processing speed, spatial reasoning, and ability to handle multi-step magical matrices on the fly. It is the engine behind your ability to multitask and manage complex spellwork in high-stress situations without losing focus.
Mechanically, Calculation acts as your mental RAM. It dictates your Ongoing Spell Limit (the maximum number of active, sustained spells you can maintain at once) and your Simultaneous Casting limit (you can cast multiple spells in a single action as long as their combined Tiers do not exceed your Calculation).
Common Uses
- Multitasking: Maintaining an active ward while simultaneously casting an offensive spell.
- Simultaneous Casting: Weaving multiple spell matrices at the exact same moment to overwhelm an opponent's defenses.
- Vector Math: Instantly calculating the trajectory of a kinetic blast or a dimensional teleportation jump.
- Matrix Weaving: Processing the complex, overlapping geometric shapes required for advanced spell formulas in real time.
Attribute Tiers
| Tier | Title | Example Capability |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Novice | Average mental math. Limit: 1 Ongoing Spell, Max Simultaneous Tier 1. |
| 2 | Competent | Quick thinker. Can handle multi-step calculations. Limit: 2 Ongoing Spells, Max Simultaneous Tier 2. |
| 3 | Skilled | Parallel processing. Limit: 3 Ongoing Spells, Max Simultaneous Tier 3. |
| 4 | Expert | Advanced parallel processing. Limit: 4 Ongoing Spells, Max Simultaneous Tier 4. |
| 5 | Master | Supercomputer mind. Can calculate dozens of kinetic vectors perfectly. Limit: 5 Ongoing Spells, Max Simultaneous Tier 5. |
